10 years of a trees' growth worth less than 10 days of people's amusement?
Such a tree took more than a decade to grow, to end up as an ornament in our living room, and then to be dumped in the rubbish. How selfish of us, people.
In my working life I am blessed with an interesting job as a Professor in Computer Science.
In my private life I am blessed with a lovely family
and good friends.
I am concerned about the damage we, the developed world, are inflicting upon our beautiful earth. I am interested in how we can modify our expectations and behaviour, so as to reduce our environmental footprint.
